Overview Texas Oncology is looking for full-time new graduate Registered Nurse Residents for its summer residency cohort that will begin in January 2026. This will be for residency placement in the Austin area. The program will last ten weeks and will include both didactic and clinical components. Our locations are typically open Monday-Friday 8 : 30a-5p and are closed weekends and major holidays. The first 2 weeks of the program will take place in Dallas (with all expenses paid) while the remainder of the program will be completed in Austin. Upon successful completion, residents may have the option of remaining in the Austin area or transferring to one of our other geographical regions if desired. What do the RN Residents do? Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse Resident provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations; must recognize physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of care and participates in company-wide quality initiatives; supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
