100% Remote Senior Data Engineer

Overview

Summit Human Capital is seeking a 100% Remote Senior Data Engineer to join a fully virtual team. In this role, you'll design and build scalable data solutions for a leading financial client, collaborating with some of the top engineers in the industry. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria :

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data processing
• Experience designing, implementing, and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL or Oracle.
• Strong understanding of API development and integration , including authentication and documentation
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines (ETL / ELT)
• Solid knowledge of data warehouses (on prem)
• Familiarity with best practices in data modeling, performance optimization, and workflow automation
• Familiarity with the electrical utilities industry and related data systems
• Experience working within a DataMesh
