Job Description

As a Security Guard - Tech Media Patrol Driver in The Dalles, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Officer in a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for everyone on site. This position is a driving post, where you will use your keen observation skills and strong communication abilities to provide exceptional service while remaining highly visible. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry to sensitive areas within the location.

Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client protocols.

Collaborate with location staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support operational needs.

Remain visible and approachable to employees, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance as needed.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
