Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of hospital experience and ARRT certification for variable shifts including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an inpatient hospital setting within Imaging Services
  • Perform OR fluoroscopy, invasive fluoroscopy, general x-ray, and portable x-ray procedures
  • Department includes 2 x-ray rooms, 2 fluoro rooms, 7 C-arms, and 5 portable machines
  • Utilizes Meditech EMR, Philips Intellispace PACS, and Pyxis for medication management
  • Schedule consists of variable 12-hour night shifts, primarily Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • No call required
  • Possibility to float to outpatient imaging within the organization
  • Position involves working as part of a team and not independently
  • Hospital provides scrubs
  • Orientation includes assignment to an experienced x-ray technologist with evaluation based on experience and workflow adaptation
  • Unit follows a 50-mile radius restriction for candidates and does not accept local applicants
  • Holiday coverage is required as part of the schedule

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a radiologic technologist in a hospital environment
  • Current ARRT and BLS certification required
  • Restraint training (A) required
  • License required if applicable
  • Must be able to work variable shifts including holidays and weekends
