Position Details
The Criminal Investigations Division encompasses all law enforcement and forensic components residing within the Department of Financial Services. This advertisement is for a Bureau of Insurance Fraud detective.

Requirements
For Law Enforcement Investigator II
Preferences
College education can be substituted at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours per year for a maximum of one year required experience. Individuals with less than three years of sworn law enforcement experience may be considered at a Law Enforcement Investigator I, depending on the agency's needs.
The Division requires you to live no more than 50 miles from your residence to your assigned duty station (office). Mileage will be determined by geodesic distance from address of residence to the assigned office.

Experience and education requirements must be met at the time of application submission. This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint, as a condition of employment.
LEI I Salary : $60,000.00; LEI II Salary : $63,000.00. Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
