job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerforms nursing care such as health assessments, pain assessments, vital signs, applying dressings and general daily care of residents Performs all duties of medication administration including medication pass, injections, and observing self-administration of medication Manages medications including completing the MAR, updating the MAR and counting controlled substances Provides patient education regarding physical health and medications Coordinates care with staff, residents, family, physicians, psychiatrists, hospitals and pharmacies Reports and records observable changes in resident behavior, attitude and physical condition Responds to emergency situations as specified by the guidelines of the unit during working shift and on call Assists physicians and staff with various diagnostic and treatment procedures Initiates and participates in group or individual activities with residents Provides education on procedures and protocols to new employees Participates in team and leadership meetings as assigned Lifts heavy equipment and / or residents when required Other duties as assigned Regular exposure to blood and / or body fluids Regular exposure to fumes and / or gases Regular exposure to biohazard waste materials Regular exposure to electrical hazards Operating vehicles or machinery Associates degree in nursing required Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred Advancement opportunities Professional development Licensure supervision Mentor opportunities Tuition reimbursement Scholarship program Employee Assistance Program Headspace Access Paid time off & Paid Holidays NHSC Loan Repayment Participant Retention bonuses paid as per bonus policy; exclusions may apply.

Provides nursing oversight of the residents' physical and psychiatric care for the Transitional Services program.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Nights, 7 : 00pm - 7 : 00am. 36 hours weekly.
