Controller

Position Overview

The Controller will oversee the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, while providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and timely reconciliation of accounts
Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts
Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Coordinate the audit process and liaise with external auditors
Manage budgeting and financial planning processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP and taxation regulations
Analyze financial data to identify trends and insights
Implement and maintain ERP systems to enhance financial processes
Prepare and review payroll and related reports

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

CPA or equivalent certification preferred

5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as Quickbooks

Experience with financial analysis and forecasting

Familiarity with budgeting, auditing, and taxation processes

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and leadership abilities
