Position Overview
The Controller will oversee the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, while providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and timely reconciliation of accounts
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Coordinate the audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Manage budgeting and financial planning processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and taxation regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and insights
- Implement and maintain ERP systems to enhance financial processes
- Prepare and review payroll and related reports
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA or equivalent certification preferred5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial roleStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingProficiency in Excel and accounting software such as QuickbooksExperience with financial analysis and forecastingFamiliarity with budgeting, auditing, and taxation processesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and leadership abilitiesFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
