Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Reconstruction Estimator with a strong background in sales and estimating to join our team. This role is crucial in driving business by building client relationships, preparing accurate estimates for residential and commercial reconstruction projects, and transitioning jobs to our project management team for execution.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with clients and assess property damage or reconstruction needsPrepare detailed, accurate estimates for restoration and reconstruction projects using Xactimate or similar estimating softwareDevelop strong relationships with homeowners, adjusters, and insurance reps to facilitate project approvalsPresent estimates and sell reconstruction services to clients in a clear and professional mannerCollaborate with the internal construction team to align scopes and timelinesHand off awarded projects to the project manager, ensuring a smooth transition with complete documentationFollow up on outstanding estimates and assist in closing opportunitiesMaintain detailed records of client communications, estimates, and job statuses in CRM / project management systemsStay informed on local construction codes, insurance guidelines, and industry best practicesQualifications
Proven experience in estimating for restoration or construction projectsStrong sales or client-facing background – must be comfortable presenting and closingProficiency in Xactimate, Symbility, or equivalent estimating softwareKnowledge of insurance claims processes and documentation (preferred)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized with attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage multiple estimates simultaneouslyValid driver's license and reliable transportationWhat We Offer
