Neurologist Opening in Quincy, IL (Permanent)Permanent Position2 hours to St. Louis | 3.5 hours to Kansas City | 1.5 hours to Springfield, IL Full-time employed position with a mix of outpatient (75%) and inpatient (25%) Join a collaborative group including 2 neurologists (1 general and 1 neurohospitalist) Call is 10 days / month, shared with another local neurologist; Tele-neurology in ED supports stroke care No procedures required, though Botox is helpful Monday Friday, 8am 5pm schedule Patient volume : ~15 20 outpatients / day, ~6 hospital consults / day Clinical focus includes headache, seizures, stroke, MS, epilepsy, sleep studies EPIC EMR No academic affiliation, though family medicine residents rotate throughCompensation and Benefits : Salary : $310,000 $375,000 base + WRVU productivity bonus Sign-on Bonus : $50,000 (or $100,000 if no educational loans) Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance Malpractice coverage with tail Retirement plans : 403(b) and 457(b) Paid time off : 4 6 weeks annually + 1 week CME Professional expense allowance Access to on-site child careRequirements : MD or DO degree Completion of Neurology residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology Eligible for licensure in IllinoisAbout Quincy, IL : Set along the Mississippi River, Quincy is a historic and vibrant university town with a strong sense of community and an appreciation for the arts.
