Citizens Memorial Hospital Foundation (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Registered Medication Technician (RMT) to provide exceptional care for our residents in Lake Stockton Long Term Care located in Stockton, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the area : Stockton, Missouri is home to Stockton State Park, which offers a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, fishing, boating, and swimming. Stockton Lake is located a few minutes from our facility and is a popular destination for boating, water sports, and camping!

About the department : Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility is a 90-bed long term skilled nursing facility. A 30-bed memory care unit meets the specific needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

A typical day includes : A typical day will include knowing and applying current nursing theory, principles of treatment, and nursing procedures in the care of residents.

Prepares, administers, and documents medications by all routes except those by parenteral routes.

• Utilizes references materials associated with medication administration to identify side effects, interactions, and nursing implications of medications in use in the facility.
• Identifies medication errors, completes event reports, and reports to charge nurse for follow- up action.
