Reporter / Producer Job at TMZ in Los Angeles

Overview TMZ is hiring a Reporter / Producer to break stories involving the biggest creators on social media. The candidate must be smart, aggressive, trustworthy and accurate in reporting exclusive, Gen-Z stories. The Reporter / Producer should also have an on-camera presence and the ability to tell a compelling story native to YouTube.

Responsibilities Identifying Gen-Z stories, and then diving in by making contacts with relevant people who can help develop the stories.

Crafting a compelling story-line for a 10-minute info doc.

Presenting content on camera in a way that engages the target audience.

Qualifications Knowledge of Gen-Z pop culture

Willing to spend time developing sources both during working hours and after

Ability to edit on Premiere

Compensation and Benefits Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate / range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, is $65,000.00-80,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical / dental / vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
