Our Provisional Level 2 Trauma Center delivers comprehensive and specialized care for patients with traumatic injuries. The Stroke Center at NYU Langone HospitalSuffolk is designated by the New York State Department Of Health as a Primary Stroke Center, with expert neurologists available to provide treatment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Additionally, NYU Langone HospitalSuffolk has multiple outpatient sites, including an outpatient wound care center, a hemodialysis center, and various primary care and specialty offices.
Position Summary : We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Magnet Program Director- Full Time, Days - NSG-In Service - Full-Time - 09 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM. In this role, the successful candidate The Magnet Program Director assumes hospital-wide responsibility for coordinating all aspects of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program including the application, designation, and re-designation process.
Job Responsibilities :
Minimum Qualifications : To qualify you must have a Masters in Nursing, NYS license and registration as a Registered Nurse. Previous experience as Magnet Program Director in a Magnet designated facility. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and management skills. Excellent writing skills & exceptional presentation skills. Must be strong in computer skills including Word, Excel & Power Point. Is innovative & creative, able to inspire & develop others. Capable of multitasking (juggling priorities) and meeting or exceeding goals within identified time frames. Required Licenses : Registered Nurse License-NYS
Preferred Qualifications : Certification in speciality area desirable.

NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $124,019.21 - $208,785.12 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses / incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
