Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Needed!

Are you a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in need of a part-time or PRN opportunity? Would you like to provide care to quadriplegic employee of the Department of Interior who because of targeted disabilities, require assistance during work hours? Schedule : Wednesday mornings 7 AM until 11 : 30 AM, Thursday and Friday 7 AM until 3 : 30 PM, totaling 20 guaranteed hours a week

Also, the person would serve as PRN / backup for the other caretaker in case of appointments, emergencies, etc.

The following list is a range of personal / proxy care services needed by quadriplegic employees :

• Assistance with getting out of bed using a Hoyer Lift
• Grooming
• Dressing
• Maintaining hygiene during the employee's workday
• Feeding
• Holding beverages
• Light physical movement, 10-minute range of motion stretches, and mobility assistance (i.e. tilting chair every 30 minutes for a pre-determined amount of time).
• Administrative Support to include retrieving mail and packages, assisting with navigating to the designated workstation
• Occasional filing, assembling and / or mailing of materials.
