This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer II in United States.

As a Software Engineer II, you will contribute to building and scaling sophisticated software solutions within a microservices and Kubernetes-based environment. You will work on developing Python-based APIs, designing infrastructure using Terraform, and maintaining robust CI / CD pipelines to ensure rapid, secure, and reliable software delivery. Collaborating closely with engineering, product, and operations teams, you will streamline deployment workflows, enhance system performance, and drive operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to apply best practices in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and security while participating in innovative projects that support complex, enterprise-grade applications. You will operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your work directly influences the reliability and scalability of critical software platforms.

Accountabilities :

  • Architect, manage, and optimize infrastructure for containerized applications and microservices.
  • Maintain and evolve CI / CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software delivery.
  • Develop Python-based API microservices and manage deployments on Kubernetes platforms.
  • Design and automate infrastructure using Terraform to ensure consistency and repeatability.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement automation to improve deployment speed, reliability, and system observability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Stay current with DevOps trends and introduce improvements to system architecture, monitoring, and deployment strategies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Python-based microservices.
  • Proficiency with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, observability, and cloud-native security best practices.
  • Proficient in Terraform for automating infrastructure deployment.
  • Familiarity with machine learning model development and cloud performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and best practices in cloud-native environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
