Job Title : Theater Instructor

Salary Range : $15.00-$23.00 (DOQ)

Directly Reports To : Recreation Supervisor – Youth and Cultural Arts Programs

The Theater Instructor position supports the Theater Coordinator during theater classes, rehearsals, and performances. This position assists in facilitating activities, managing students, and ensuring the smooth operation of the theater program. Theater Instructor reports to the Recreation Supervisor – Youth and Cultural Arts Programs.

Requirements : JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Previous Experience in theater is preferred.
• Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a theater, educational or recreational setting preferred.
• Passion for theater arts and a desire to inspire creativity and self-expression.
• Knowledge of theater tech equipment is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of theater principles, terminology and techniques is helpful but not required.
• Ability to understand and exhibit behavior consistent with the stated park district policy.
• Must be at least 16 years of age
