3rd Shift - Inserting Department

• Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes and products to confirm production specifications are met.
• Maintain positive and effective relationships with employees.  Direct employees to the appropriate manager regarding policy questions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standard, policies and procedures. Report any problems, potential problems, hazardous situations to management
• Inspect products and / or shipments to verify conformance to specifications
• Review and approve machine set ups, production samples, and / or shipments as necessary
• Identify and report opportunities for continual improvement
• When necessary, attend production meetings and / or confer with other departments to coordinate production activities
• Coordinate or perform training for new employees, contract workers, and / or guests to ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are understood.
• Ensure the “Quality Policy and Objectives” are understood and achieved
• May provide oversight of work conducted by junior-level staff and / or review / audit work for accuracy
• May update and maintain shift schedules in the time and attendance system, as well as enter attendance transactions

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $26.26 to $34 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to : education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
