Laborer II (Helper) Logistics

Job Summary

Qualifications :

High school diploma, GED, or sufficient education and experience to perform the duties of the position

Verified proof of successful work experience in the area of logistics is preferred

Possess and maintain valid Alabama driver's license and MPS insurable driving record required

Subject to drug screening within Board policy

Essential Duties :

Regular and punctual attendance required

Preparation and deliver custodial and cafeteria materials and supplies as assigned

Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment in the shipping and receiving areas as directed

Inspect, service and operate delivery trucks, other system-owned vehicles as assigned

Enter and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment for schools as requested

Prepare monthly reports, file reports, answer and direct phone calls as directed

Account for and issue instructional materials as assigned

Maintain accurate inventory records on all equipment and supplies housed in the warehouse

Receive, inventory, label, stock, pack and deliver textbooks as assigned

Receive and ship supplies as requested
