MANUFACTURING PLANT MANAGER

Pay : $160,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year

Job description :

Summary : The Plant Manager oversees all aspects of manufacturing processes. Plans and directs the purchase, maintenance, and layout of equipment. Establishes workflow and assembly methods to maximize efficiency of manufacturing operations. Directs and monitors workforce utilization. 15 years of experience.

What We Want

CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE lean manufacturing experience to go along with heavy machinery, auto, heavy equipment, aircraft, or large energy unit assembly industry experience. Need to have led plants with at least 200 + EEs, with 300 – 500. Experience with managing 8-12 supervisors with staff under them. Managing a 2-3 shift schedule will be ideal as well.

Compensation

COMPENSATION : 160,000-190,000 annually

Job Duties

• Direct and manage plant operations for production and maintenance.
• Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Develop and control profits, plans, and budget.
• Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.
• Manages capital asset maintenance.
• Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
• Control and minimize labor overtime and repair expenses.
• Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.
• Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
• Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.
• Provides direction, development and leadership to production supervisors.
