Base pay range

$130,000.00 / yr - $160,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain database solutions using MongoDB, Snowflake, and Confluent Kafka.
• Design, implement, and maintain reporting platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Sigma.
• Design, implement, and maintain data caching solutions such as Redis / ElastCache.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of database systems.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing.
• Develop and maintain database backup and recovery procedures. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement data models and database schemas.
• Manage database access and security, including user roles and permissions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and provide technical support.
• Implement and manage Business Continuity Planning (BCP) to ensure database systems are resilient and can recover from disruptions.
• Oversee Change Management processes using ServiceNow to ensure smooth and controlled changes to database systems.
• Manage CI / CD pipelines using Harness or other similar tools to automate database deployments and updates.
• Stay up to date with the latest database technologies and best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotation for database support.
• Contribute to standards related to the adoption, implementation, and use of database technologies, including security, identity and access management, compliance, cost management, license management, performance management and monitoring.
• Work closely with IT security to ensure the adoption of database resources aligns with the company's security posture.
