Project Manager – Commercial / Industrial Construction

About the Role

We’re looking for a capable Project Manager to lead and coordinate commercial and industrial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. The ideal candidate has solid experience in project delivery, a commitment to safety and quality, and strong ability to build and maintain relationships with owners, subcontractors and team members.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of construction projects ($1 M–$50 M+ typical).

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.

Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation, and performance.

Ensure compliance with company safety, quality and performance standards.

Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and field personnel.

Lead project meetings, documentation, reporting and project close-out.

Identify and mitigate project risks; manage RFIs and change orders.

Support and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field (preferred).

5-10 years of commercial or industrial construction experience.

Proven success managing ground-up and renovation projects across sectors such as manufacturing, warehouse / distribution, healthcare, higher education, or office.

Proficiency in construction technologies (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, MS Office).

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Compensation & Benefits

Mid-range candidates / firms may offer $100,000–$115,000+ , with experienced managers on larger projects exceeding that. Salary.com
