Senior Software Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Build and operate core data infrastructure across Airflow, Spark, and AWS for batch and streaming pipelines

Implement and extend metadata and catalog systems to enhance dataset discovery and documentation

Develop platform capabilities and event governance frameworks for consistent event instrumentation and compliance

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data infrastructure, platform, or backend engineering

Strong proficiency with cloud environments and infrastructure as code using Pulumi or Terraform

Experience with containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes

Understanding of data governance and metadata management principles

Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools for distributed systems
