Program Support Coordinator
Under the direction of the Director of Community Affairs, the Program Support Coordinator provides operational and programmatic support for the department's events, outreach activities, and internal initiatives. This role coordinates multiple facets of community affairs programming, assists with scheduling and communications, and liaises with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of department priorities. The Program Support Coordinator plays a key role in tracking departmental projects, developing materials, and maintaining logistical oversight for internal and external engagements.
Responsibilities
Operates under the guidance of the Director of Community Affairs.
Provides both operational and programmatic support for departmental events and outreach efforts.
Coordinates various aspects of community affairs initiatives to ensure smooth execution.
Manages scheduling and communication tasks related to department activities.
Serves as a liaison between the department and internal / external stakeholders.
Tracks progress on departmental projects and ensures timely updates.
Assists in the creation of materials and resources for events and initiatives.
Oversees logistics for both internal meetings and public-facing engagements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required in one of the following fields :
Public Administration
Communications
Public Health
Social Science
Or a closely related discipline
Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in :
Administrative support
Project coordination
Preferably within healthcare or nonprofit environments
Strong preference for candidates with experience engaging diverse community stakeholders

Familiar with community-based program development and evaluation

The expected salary range for this position is $74,989 - $90,407 - $107,705 per year, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
