Supply Chain Manager
This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and is responsible for the general and specific job duties of IAC as described below :
General Job Duties :

Report all accidents and near misses in a timely manner when they occur.

- To perform daily cross-functional job assignments in all areas of your assigned department per the established procedures and work guidance.
- Participate and support all lean, continuous improvement programs, initiatives and activities.
- Clean all assigned work areas after completion of the required work according to 5s standards.
- Maintain proper radio etiquette when using company radios, PA System and / or phone, business use only.
- Maintain professionalism when representing the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Specific Job Duties :
Lead and supervise supply chain staff including hourly cycle counters.Serve as Master scheduler over the Production Scheduler Supervisors.Scheduling raw materials to support pilot and production requirements utilizing MRPWork very closely with Manufacturing Operations and other departments concerning materials management and delivery performanceCommunicate with customers and suppliers regarding delivery, quantity shipped and purchased materials.Manage Engineering Changes as it relates to materialsMaterial set up of new product launchEffectively manage inventory with accuracy.Adjust inventory according to cycle countsInvestigate any large variancesConvert the output of the MRP process to supplier schedules, ensuring EVERY production supplier receives an updated release EVERY weekAct as the primary plant contact for the supply baseEnsure the supplier cum shipped is aligned with our cum received and that all shipments have been accounted for in the ERP systemOversee any supplier material / fabrication obsolescence claimManage any supplier shortage situationsEnsure the planning parameter used in the ERP system accuretly reflect reality for the supply baseMaintain the supplier On Time Delivery metric (OTD) using the SRS systemEstablish safety stock for supplied components with in the ERP system based on the suppliers historical ability to ship on timeManage the supply base to ensure the proper use of logistic routing instructions, timely boarder crosing when applicable and a level loaded receiving schedule existsMonitor inbound supplier EDI to ensure the supply base is shipping as scheduledWork with the Corporate Purchasing and IT teams to ensure all suppliers are EDI capableAssist in the Management of the ECN processSupport the engineering change process as required by the Supply Chain ManagerParticipate with the SCM team to achieve targets, goals and objectivesEnsure that new parts are set up properly in QAD and the "P.O. Integration processOther duties as assignedEducation Requirements :
Bachelor degree with 3-4 years experience or -5-7 experience in a related fieldExperience Requirements :
Excellent computer including typing and the use of Microsoft Excel and WordExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read, write and perform non-complex mathematical calculationsAbility to pay attention to detail, multi-task and follow directionExperience with QAD, MP2 and AS400Experience and working knowledge of OEM portalsWork with minimal direction and supervisionTraining Requirements :
This position will be required to travel to other facilities or training locations as well as on-site training as needed.
