Part Time Bookkeeper

A nonprofit organization in Newton, MA is seeking a part-time bookkeeper to support their financial operations. This open-ended temporary role offers flexible scheduling - approximately 3-6 hours every other week on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays, with parking reimbursement available. Pay is $25 per hour, and the position is ideal for someone experienced in bookkeeping who enjoys autonomy and flexibility while contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain and organize financial records in QuickBooks Online
• Record, track, and process invoices, bills, and payments
• Perform account reconciliations and general ledger cleanup
• Generate and organize reports to support annual audits
• Streamline and improve accounting workflows
• Collaborate with staff or external accountants for reporting and compliance
