Environmental Services Supervisor

We are seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to oversee our sanitation, custodial, waste / recycling, and facility support teams. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment across our production operations.

As an Environmental Services Supervisor, you will :

• Supervise Staff : Prioritize and assign work, conduct performance evaluations, ensure staff is trained, and maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
• Implement Cleaning Protocols : Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and manage cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Conduct Inspections : Regularly assess cleanliness, safety, and compliance with environmental regulations; identify areas for improvement.
• Train Staff : Provide training on proper cleaning techniques, waste management, and sustainability practices.
• Collaborate with Other Departments : Work closely with production, maintenance, and other teams to ensure a cohesive approach to health and safety initiatives.
• Prepare Reports : Document results, maintain accurate records of work performed, waste management, and staff performance; collaborate with management to develop improvement activities.
• Oversee Waste and Recycling Programs : Manage proper disposal, recycling, and sustainability efforts in line with company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain Cleaning Supplies and Equipment : Monitor inventory of tools and materials; request replenishments as needed.
• Supervise Teams : Oversee custodial services, waste and recycling, pallet repair, porters, and sanitation teams.
• Ensure Safety and Quality : Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.
