About The Position

We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia, starting Nov 17, 2025. This role involves 12-hour night shifts in a high-ranking NICU at a prestigious Children’s Hospital, requiring a well-rounded professional with active NICU experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care and management for newborns in a NICU
  • Actively participate in nighttime patient management and emergencies
  • Administer and monitor patient response to therapeutic interventions
  • Utilize Epic EMR system to document patient care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of care
  • Educate families on patient status, treatment plans, and overall care processes
  • Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications : Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
  • Other Required Certifications : Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Must be licensed to practice in Georgia
