POSITION SUMMARY
Partners with business stakeholders, technical teams, and organizational leaders to ensure that projects are clearly defined and successfully executed. Instrumental in delivering strategic initiatives, optimizing business processes, and contributing to the PMO’s delivery of consistent, repeatable value. In addition to leading projects through all phases of the lifecycle, the Project Manager contributes to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring solutions meet organizational needs and deliver value.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Manage projects across all phases of the lifecycle, using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches as appropriate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and desired outcomes and to successfully implement projects.
- Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Maintain project documentation and communication that is concise, transparent, and useful for both teams and leadership.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies, regularly prioritizing and monitoring progress.
- Facilitate effective meetings with teams and stakeholders, ensuring discussions are productive and outcomes are documented.
- Proactively escalate risks, issues, or changes, providing recommended solutions or alternatives whenever possible.
- Prepare and deliver project status updates and steering committee reports that clearly highlight progress, risks, issues, and key decisions.
- Lead the evaluation of current business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to the PMO practices and standards by consistently applying established procedures, tools, and templates.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience :
3-5+ years of project management experience

Strong project leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable with both big-picture analysis and hands-on, detail-oriented task managementSolution-oriented mindset – able to frame challenges with recommended paths forwardCollaborative and team-oriented with a strong sense of initiative and ability to build strong relationships across business and technical teamsExcellent estimating, scheduling, and budgeting skills with an eye for minimizing riskStrong facilitation and communication skills, including verbal and written skills, as well as guiding discussions toward decisions and ensuring productive meetingsDemonstrated clarity and professionalism to engage with senior leaders and communicate complex information in a concise, business-relevant mannerAbility to work independently while also applying and reinforcing PMO standards for consistent deliveryEnthusiasm, positive energy, and the ability to maintain grace and humor under pressureExperience with project management methodologies and tools, including Smartsheet and LucidAppreciation of Everence’s core valuesSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : None
