Nuclear Medicine Technologist- Glenwood Springs, CO

Location : Glenwood Springs, CO 81601

Project Duration : 13 weeks

Pay range : $70- $74 / hr on W2 with limited benefits

Shift : Tuesday - Friday 4-10 hour shifts

Job Description : Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Nuclear Medicine (NM) and PET imaging, demonstrate strong technical knowledge, and provide exceptional patient care while ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform a wide range of Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  • Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely while following radiation safety guidelines.
  • Operate imaging equipment, ensuring accurate image acquisition and high-quality results for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, imaging data, and reports.
  • Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes.
  • Adhere to all infection control, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with new imaging technologies and procedures.

Requirements

  • ARRT(N) and / or NMTCB with multi-modality training for NM and PET.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Flu Vaccine 2025 / 2026 is REQUIRED.
