$35 to $44 per hour

About The Position

This is a full-time dental hygienist role

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement individualized dental care plans for patients.

Perform patient education, discharge planning, and family teaching under dentist supervision.

Conduct dental screenings and assessments, including review of medical history and dental charting.

Take vital signs, perform cleanings, polishing, fluoride application, sealants, x-rays, and injections.

Document dental history, observations, and reactions. Ensure follow-up on lab results.

Assist with emergency procedures during treatment as necessary.

Prepare and maintain patient care areas.

Follow all regulations and guidelines for outpatient dental services.

Communicate technical dental information to non-technical patients effectively.

Contribute to team-based care and support clinic goals and objectives.

Adhere to safety and infection control protocols including exposure control plans.

Maintain professionalism and respect in all patient and coworker interactions.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requirements :

Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.

Current Missouri (MO) licensure as a Dental Hygienist.

Knowledge of dental procedures, surgery, and hygiene protocols.

Ability to analyze medical records and develop care plans.
