Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.\n\nDuties : \n\nPerforms body system assessment accurately and promptly.\nRecognizes and provides ongoing assessment of any change in patient condition.\nMonitors, recognizes, and abnormal test results.\nAssesses patient / family educational needs and expectations for cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program.\nEvaluates the plan of care and makes changes to meet the on-going needs of the patient.\nEvaluates the care provided by other members of the team.\nDevelops an individual plan of care based on assessment parameters.\nPrioritizes routine and emergency care based on the ongoing assessment of the patient.\nReports abnormal assessment findings promptly.\nDocuments system assessment, nursing interventions, medication administration, pertinent variance from plan of care all accurately and promptly.\nDocuments appropriately for transfer of patient care inter- and intra-agency. Including the current COBRA / EMTALA guidelines.\nTemporarily functions as charge nurse in absence of clinical charge nurse.\nProvides for care of patients requiring blood glucose monitoring., blood and / or blood components, IV conscious sedation, restratins, IV insertion, maintenance, and discontinuation.\nProvides for the management of patients pre, intra, and post diagnostic endoscopy, with or without a therapeutic procedure and post therapeutic pain management intervention.\nDemonstrates an understanding of the principles of operating room asepsis., flexible endoscope cleaning, high level disintection, electrosurgical system operation, safety, and specimen collection.\nProvides for care of patients receiving patient controlled analgesia.\nProvides for care of geriatric, adult, school age, adolescent, preschool, toddler, neonate / infant patients.\nPerforms treatments / procedures and / or cares for patients with conditions not listed above after appropriate education / orientation.\n\nBenefit Highlights\n
