Concraft is seeking a Residential Construction Superintendent with excellent leadership skills. If you're good at managing subcontractors, managing skilled workers, and maintaining safety and compliance at a construction site, then you might be perfect as our next Residential Construction Superintendent.
Our ideal candidate has 3-plus years of construction field experience and can supervise all site activities and maintain safety compliance at all times.

$60,000 - $70,000 yearly
Responsibilities :
Assess subcontractor progress against timelines and performance targets to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to the highest possible qualityRequire complete adherence to health and safety regulations on construction sites to avoid accidents and delays, and report any problems to the project manager as soon as possibleCertify that each building project delivers a high-quality end product, oversee construction staff, and perform on-site assessments dailyEmploy subcontractors and ensure they have all of the necessary permitsMaintain a daily record of project progress and home repair updates for the project manager and the homeownerUnder the direction of the Project Manager, you will oversee and manage onsite activities of the project in a systematic manner to determine that projects are executed on time, safely, on budget, and of the highest qualityReview daily / weekly requirements of the projects, document progress, and notify project managersOrder materials and arrange for deliveryManage labor and material at the site and coordinate all necessary inspections and compliance eventsOversee daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction progress, and quality controlEnsure a clean worksiteComplete inspectionsSupervise multiple crews simultaneously on multiple projectsEnsure that the punch list is fully executedQualifications :
Physical stamina to lift at least 40 lbs and use heavy equipmentPossesses a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methodsYou will need a high school diploma for this position, and a bachelor’s degree is preferredMinimum 18 months of experience in construction, restoration, or renovations; 3 plus years preferredCapable of reading and understanding blueprints, specifications, and reportsAbility to participate in a rotational after-hours on-call scheduleExperience with Xactimate is a huge plusDetail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multi-taskMust be self-disciplined to consistently handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbout Company
