Montana Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor

A company is looking for a Virtual Substance Abuse Counselor (MT Licensed).

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate evening IOP group counseling sessions virtually in accordance with program curriculum

Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions

Develop and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the treatment team

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Active Montana licensure as a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Availability to work Monday through Thursday, 5 : 00 PM-9 : 00 PM (Mountain Time)

Associate's degree required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Behavioral Science or related field preferred

Strong knowledge of substance use and co-occurring disorders, recovery models, and therapeutic principles

Experience facilitating group counseling for individuals in recovery is strongly preferred
