Job Description

Now hiring Quality Inspector for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Norwood, MA.

Responsibilities of Quality Inspector :

Inspect Incoming Materials received from vendors for approval
Reject and return unacceptable materials
Perform First Article inspection
Communicate required adjustments to production department supervisor before final approval
Inspect finished products by confirming specifications
Conduct visual and measurement test
Returning products for re-work
Escalate any quality issues to quality manager or production manager
Maintain all necessary documentation and logs
perform other general manufacturing related tasks as assigned

Requirements of Quality Inspector :

Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent

Must have past experience in Quality control and / or quality assurance

Previous manufacturing, wire and cable harness, and electrotechnical assemblies experience preferred

Able to follow both written and verbal instructions

Excellent Hand eye coordination and attention to detail

Great communication and computer skills

Ability to read tape measure that just has the ticks

Good Organizational and time management skills

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs on regular basis, 50 lbs on occasion

Hours : 7 : 00am-3 : 30 pm Monday-Friday

Pay Rate : $18.00-$21.00 / hr
