Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol in Antioch, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and training.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned government facilities and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor access points and check identification to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related issues, or hazards to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or site contacts.
  • Work collaboratively with law enforcement or emergency response teams when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents and / or other security-related activities in accordance with company and site-specific protocols.
  • Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies, state laws and client requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
