About The Position

Job Title : Emergency Room Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Shift : 12 hour days

Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 2 years in Emergency Room setting

License : Current Indiana or compact RN license

Certifications : BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), PALS

Must-Have :

• Minimum 2 years experience in Emergency Room setting
• Current Indiana or compact RN license
• BLS (AHA only) required
• ACLS (AHA only) required
• PALS required

Description :

Responsible for performing emergency department triage and prioritization.

Provides advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS).

Conducts emergent life-saving interventions for patients of all ages.

Utilizes equipment such as Cerner, computers, cardiac monitors, and basic life-saving equipment.

Works three 12-hour shifts per week, with coverage required for every other weekend and holiday.

Maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4 patients to 1 nurse.

Dresses in Caribbean Blue.

Participates in department-specific training and orientation program.
