Some New Product Development (NPD) projects may also be included.

As a co-op, you will work closely with Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Regulatory-Reliability teams under the guidance of senior engineers to resolve sustaining engineering issues arising in supply chain, production, and field.

This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in Electrical design, product testing, engineering change processes, technical writing, and presentations. This is intended to be a Spring-Summer Co-op position.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with procurement, engineers across business teams, ECAD and MCAD designers, technicians, and manufacturing.
  • Maintain project timelines with effective verbal and written communication.
  • Gain understanding of regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance protocols.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering-focused college degree (Electrical).
  • Junior / Senior (minimum 2 years of EE coursework) and in good standing.
  • Highly self-motivated and driven; enthusiastic about learning and collaborating in a team and independently on projects.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microcontroller programming with C or C++.
  • Electronic circuit and schematic familiarity.
  • Test equipment familiarity (multimeters, oscilloscopes).
  • Preferred Experience That Differentiates You

  • Familiarity with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD).
