We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team in Summerlin. In this role, you will support both clinical and administrative functions to ensure patients receive safe, comfortable, and efficient infusion care. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a genuine focus on patient experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Patient Care & Clinical Support
Greet patients and prepare them for IV infusion treatments.Record and update patient vital signs, intake forms, and medical history.Assist with IV infusion setup under the supervision of licensed staff.Monitor patients during infusions, providing comfort and promptly reporting concerns to clinical staff.Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming lounge environment.Stock and prepare infusion rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.Follow infection control, HIPAA, and OSHA safety standards.Administrative Support
Answer and direct phone calls; respond to patient inquiries.Schedule and confirm appointments for infusion treatments.Check in patients and process intake paperwork.Maintain accurate patient records and assist with EMR data entry.Support insurance verification and billing coordination as needed.Handle confidential information with professionalism.Qualifications :
Medical Assistant certification required.Must be proficient in ExcelMinimum 2year of Medical Assistant experience (IV / infusion experience highly desirable).Excellent communication and patient service skills.Proficiency with basic computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR).Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.CPR certification preferred.Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $17.00 $19.00 per hour
Expected Hours : 40 per week
Schedule :
Monday to Friday (9 : 00am 5 : 30pm)
