Summary

Are you an experienced electrical engineer with a passion for powering critical infrastructure? We’re looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer with power systems expertise to join our multidisciplinary team and lead the electrical design on impactful projects in water, wastewater, irrigation, structural, transportation, and civil engineering. In this role, you’ll bring your technical knowledge to power distribution design, medium voltage and 480V systems, electrical system evaluations, dry utility undergrounding, and utility coordination, as well as instrumentation and control (I&C) design. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated group of professionals who are committed to delivering reliable, efficient, and forward-thinking solutions for the communities we serve. Key Responsibilities :

• Manage multiple concurrent Electrical Design projects.
• Work with other Senior Engineers, Project Engineers , and Project Managers to provide a quality experience for our customers and successful integration to meet each customer’s needs.
• Review proposals to ensure technical accuracy for own projects.
• Work with engineering teams on the coordinated Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural and Controls Design for projects.
• Assist with managing department projects.
• Mentor and supervise other engineers.
• Conduct periodic visits to construction sites to monitor quality and progress of the work.
• Coordinate with government agencies, client staff, and other professionals to obtain design information and approvals.
• Travel locally and occasionally out of state to project sites for meetings or field work.
• Consistently exercise discretion and judgment in all work tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

‍ Education and / or Experience

Candidates should possess a B.S. degree from an ABET accredited electrical engineering or related program and at least 15 years of experience.
