The UC Irvine Student Health Center is a comprehensive outpatient clinic staffed with licensed primary care physicians, psychiatrists, licensed clinical social workers, dentists, physician assistants, registered nurse practitioners, and registered nurses. Medical specialists from various disciplines including dermatology, orthopedics / sports medicine, gynecology, internal medicine, and ENT provide on-site consultation on a regular basis. Student Health also offers basic radiology and clinical laboratory services, insurance consultation, and an on-site pharmacy, making SHC a comprehensive and convenient clinic dedicated to serving students.
Responsibilities :
Under the General Supervision of the Registered Dental Assistant Supervisor, the Registered Dental Assistant provides chairside assistance to several dentists in the Student Health Dental Clinic performing permitted duties according to the Dental Board of California; disinfects and sterilizes rooms, equipment and instruments; takes X-rays; orders supplies; provides maintenance of equipment. Follows infection control protocols and OSHA regulations. Provides support to front office operation as needed, including : computer data entry; schedules appointments; checks patients in and out; processes payments; verifies eligibility.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $28.05- $30.94 (Hourly).
