As a full-time, on-site dual role (Patient Service Representative & Medical Assistant) , you will be responsible for providing superior patient experience at the front desk in addition to rooming and scribing during medical visits. As a PSR, this includes scheduling patient appointments, completing eligibility checking; verifying appointment information; registering and creating records for new patients; assisting patient in completion of necessary forms and consents; obtaining and verifying current insurance information or other financial information; requesting and recording all co-payments, co-insurance, self-pay, product sales. As an MA, you ensure that all patients receive high quality, efficient, and comprehensive care. You assist providers during medical and cosmetic procedures. You are an integral part of helping to communicate with and educate patients.

Starting at $19.00 per hour. Compensation is competitive to Chicago rates and based on experience.

This is an on-site position at Dermatology & Aesthetics Lakeview (3245 N Halsted Ave).

Compensation range is competitive depending on experience.

You have a passion for working in the healthcare environment. You are a team player, proactive, able to multi-task, organized, a go-getter, fast learner, empathetic, take initiative, detailed oriented, positive, personable, and professional in all your interactions. Along with basic typing, computer, English, and mathematical skills, you have an appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations; ensure compliance with all HIPPPA regulations; and, able to communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors.

Preferred : EMR experience with ModMed EMA
