We are seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator to support our Camas office. This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated professional to contribute to a variety of construction projects, ranging from tenant improvements to ground-up buildings with associated site work. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare complete quantity take-offs, ensuring all items in assigned scopes are priced accurately.
• Perform analytical reviews to identify design and constructability issues.
• Develop and define accurate, concise estimates with necessary clarifications and assumptions.
• Create conceptual estimates with minimal information or narrative.
• Participate in project walk-throughs and pre-bid meetings as needed.
• Communicate with architects, owners, and consultants to clarify scope of work.
• Coordinate and provide information to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Analyze subcontractor proposals for completeness of required scope.
• Maintain current knowledge of the latest estimating technology and techniques.
• Supply value engineering recommendations when required.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Work on estimates for a variety of markets, including retail, office, multifamily, medical, and education.

All responsibilities should be carried out with a high level of accuracy and professionalism, meeting critical deadlines in high-pressure situations.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Candidates must be comfortable handling multiple estimates simultaneously and demonstrating basic conceptual estimating skills through data interpretation.

Salary and Bonus

Compensation : $80,000$120,000 annually, dependent on experience (DOE).

Competitive salary is complemented by performance-based bonus opportunities.
