job_description.job_card.job_descriptionOperate company tractor and belly dump trailer safely and in full compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safe driving practices. Complete assigned dedicated local routes and schedules; perform loading / unloading only when required, with most assignments being no-touch. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report defects or maintenance needs promptly. Maintain accurate electronic logs and required driver paperwork; adhere to hours-of-service regulations. Communicate professionally and clearly with dispatch, supervisors, and customers to ensure on-time performance. Follow company safety standards and industry best practices at all times. Valid, current Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A). At least 6 months of tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 24 months. Able to pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen and meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements. No lifetime record of a failed pre-employment drug test. Experience operating belly dump trailers or similar equipment. Prior experience on dedicated local routes. Professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and on-time service. Compensation & Schedule
- Pay : $23.00–$25.00 per hour.
- Shift length : 12-hour shifts.
- Operating area : Local runs within approximately 150 miles of the domicile, enabling frequent home time.
- Freight type : Primarily no-touch; dedicated assignments with consistent dispatch.
