Summary

LLCC is seeking a Systems Administrator I who is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and support of the college's technology infrastructure. This role provides escalated technical support, maintains server and desktop environments, and contributes to the overall planning and assessment of IT services. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and a passion for supporting a learning environment.

Responsibilities (Job Duties)

• Microsoft Windows Server Management : Assist in daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Microsoft Windows Server environment, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and various server roles.
• Tier 2 Technical Support : Serve as an escalation point for IT specialists to resolve complex IT system issues.
• System and Desktop Imaging : Creation, deployment, and maintenance of standardized desktop images.
• Account Lifecycle Management : Create, modify, and terminate accounts to ensure secure access.
• System Installation and Maintenance : Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, hardware, and software.
• Procurement and Planning : Research, price, quote, and order IT equipment and services.
• Customer Training : Provide informal end-user guidance on technology usage.
• Strategic Planning : Contribute to annual objectives aligned with long-range goals (not essential).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
