Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement : As needed by unit

On-Call Requirement : None

Floating : Float to all acute care units as needed

EMR : EPIC

Registered Nurse Qualifications Active KS RN License or Compact RN License (Kansas nursing license)

Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience

18 months of hospital experience with Orthopedic & Spine preferred

Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Ability to float to other acute care units

Must be nicotine-free (facility requirement)

Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Telemetry unit, including Orthopedics and Spine overflow

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and clinical support staff

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Document patient care accurately in the EPIC EMR system

Float to other acute care units as needed

Participate in unit orientation and ongoing nursing education

Work every other weekend and holidays as required
