Part Time Cleaning Position

This is a Part Time Floating position.

Examples of Duties :

• Performs general cleaning
• Mops, sweeps, dusts and renews floor surface finishes
• Washes and / or cleans windows
• Cleans and services kitchens, lavatories, toilet rooms and rest rooms
• Cleans and waxes furniture
• Collects and places debris in containers
• Vacuums and cleans carpeting
• Sweeps and shovels snow and dirt from steps and walkways at building entrances
• Moves college equipment and furniture
• Assists with campus grounds when necessary
• Provides basic customer relations services
• Meets, greets and directs students and campus visitors
• Performs related duties as assigned

Terms of Employment :

Paid sick leave in accordance with NJ Sick Leave Law. Eligible part-time employees will be enrolled into the DCRP (Defined Contribution Retirement Plan) pension. Employees contribute 5% of their base salary and the college contributes 3% of base salary. Investment options are managed through Prudential Retirement. Life insurance benefits through DCRP are payable to the beneficiary at 1.5X the member's salary.
