Crisis Response Clinical Consultant (Full-Time, Remote)
The Remote Crisis Response Clinical Consultant adheres to departmental goals, objectives, standards of performance, and policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with quality care. Clinicians engage with individuals who have been impacted by a crisis and offer immediate behavioral health support and coaching.

Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical intakes via telephone to assess behavioral health needs and determine appropriate level of care
- Assist with care triaging and provider matching
- Provide direct behavioral health support via telephone to individuals requesting clinical services
- Manage emergent clinical situations as needed, including safety planning and / or crisis intervention support via telephone
- Interact with individuals to assist them in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal or vocational development and adjustment
- Provide advice on best practices and implementation for individual behavioral health, and workplace resilience and wellbeing
- Consult with or provide consultation to other doctors, therapists, or clinicians regarding care
- Consult with internal and external management teams
- Communicate with external sources on behalf of the organization
- Maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers, customers, and clients
- Interpret clinical information for non-clinicians
- Meet department clinical billable standards for clinical intake / consultation work
Essential Functions
Provide direct behavioral health support to individuals, groups and organizations who have experienced a disruptive eventMeet department standards related to crisis response volumes in the context of unpredictable requestsProvide guidance and expert advice to management on technical, systems-, or process-related topicsUtilize methods of behavioral health service delivery including telephone, video, and on-siteCommunicate with external sources representing the organizationProvide consultation to individuals and groups regarding stress, trauma, and adjustmentProvide consultation to other clinicians regarding best practices in psychological first aid and disruptive event managementMaintain collaborative relationships with coworkers, customers, and clientsComplete reports within designated time framesOther Essential Functions

Knowledge of human behavior, assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disordersKnowledge of diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and counseling in mental healthKnowledge of customer service principles and regulationsKnowledge of laws and government regulationsAbility to identify complex problems and develop solutionsAbility to remain calm under high stress, adapt to changes, and guide oneself with minimal supervisionExcellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent time managementActive listening and social perceptiveness; strong problem-solving and decision-makingProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareEducation & Licensing
Master's degree in mental health or related field requiredProfessional licensure required (LMSW, LCSW, LLMSW, LMFT, FMT, LP or LPC)Clinical licensure requiredHistory of work involving behavioral health strongly preferred2 years of clinical experience required; 3+ years preferredCompensation & Logistics
The starting pay range for this position is $27-$30 per hour. The pay range reflects national averages for similar roles; actual offer may consider experience, internal pay equity and other factors.All applicants must reside in the United States.
