Base pay range

$90,000.00 / yr - $115,000.00 / yr

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of advanced refrigeration and ice-making systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on innovator who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges and delivering premium-quality products to a discerning customer base.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through production.
  • Design and develop refrigeration and ice-making systems, including mechanical components and control systems.
  • Build and test functional prototypes to validate design performance.
  • Assemble and troubleshoot electrical systems using hand tools and diagnostic instruments.
  • Develop specifications for components, materials, and embedded control software.
  • Conduct FMEAs and lead cross-functional design reviews.
  • Perform first-article inspections and support manufacturing teams with new and existing products.
  • Maintain and utilize Engineering Lab data acquisition systems for product development.
  • Create and execute test procedures for performance qualification.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, and process efficiency.
  • Stay current with industry trends, sustainability practices, and emerging technologies.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in commercial refrigeration or ice machine manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration system design, thermodynamics, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with energy-efficient and sustainable refrigeration technologies.
  • Experience with natural refrigerants such as ammonia or CO2 is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools and data acquisition systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
