• Uphold and reinforce ISO 9001 standards throughout the CNC department to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Provide clear direction and daily oversight for CNC operations and assigned projects.
• Monitor production output to verify quality standards and production goals are consistently achieved.
• Motivate team members to improve efficiency and maintain on-time completion of all work orders.
• Assist floor staff with job setups, blueprint reviews, and labor time estimations.
• Prepare and manage purchase requests for tooling, fixtures, and other materials needed to support production.
• Train and coach employees on proper CNC machine operation and maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with CNC programmers to identify and resolve programming or machining issues.
• Work with the team to define technical best practices and develop standard operating procedures.
• Lead, mentor, and support team members to meet production targets and align with company objectives.
• Ensure all employees receive appropriate training focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Participate in hiring, performance counseling, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy.
• Guide and instruct employees while maintaining accountability and enforcing established processes.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support department and company success.
