Facility :

This established medical group features a specialized cardiac surgery clinic with two cardiac surgeons, one thoracic-only surgeon, and a collaborative team of APPs. The facility utilizes Cerner EMR and provides comprehensive cardiac surgical services to the Greater Lansing area.

Board Certified - Cardiothoracic Surgery APP

Job Details :

• Temporary coverage needed from October 13, 2025 to November 7, 2025
• Work collaboratively with inpatient APPs, including rounding with surgeons
• Shifts include 7am-5pm daily onsite with 5pm-7am daily call
• Specific coverage dates : 10 / 13-10 / 18, 10 / 20-10 / 24, 10 / 27-10 / 31, and 11 / 3-11 / 7 / 2025
• Potential for one surgery per day
• Must have experience performing vein harvesting (required)
• Experience with arterial bypass and bypass surgery required
• ICU experience preferred
• Must use DocTime for clocking in and out
• Michigan license required at time of name clear - no exceptions
• Must have current COVID-19 vaccination
• Clean background required
• Must meet all employee health requirements including flu vaccine, COVID documentation, TB testing, and required immunizations
• Local providers required

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
