Transportation Practice Area Leader responsibilities include :
- Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.
- The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
- Project engineering and management.
- Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
- Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews / presentations, and client management.
- Professional society involvement.
Transportation Market Area Leader basic qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design.Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development.Project Management experience with the Florida Department of Transportation a plus.Staff management and proven leadership experience preferred.Knowledge of FDOT design and standards.PE license in FL.Experience with MicroStation, Open Roads Design (ORD), AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage.Benefit package :
